Oscar Taylor Gensaw, Sr., a member of the Yurok Tribe, died May 3, 2007, at his home in Klamath at the age of 71. He was born June 9, 1935, in Requa.
He was a logger for 36 years, a fish guide for tourists in the early years on the Klamath River. Mr. Gensaw, as I knew him, was my brother Adam’s boxing coach.
